
Our design retrofitted 2000 outdated fittings with new modern LEDs. We incorporated an advanced corridor function system. Additionally, 1000 were supplied with self-test emergency drivers. All gear trays were engraved with the Hitachi logo, ensuring brand alignment throughout the factory.

| The Problem | Hitachi Rail required a sustainable smart solution to upgrade 2000 fittings across their factory. The final solution needed to incorporate a smart lighting system, ensuring they meet their sustainability requirements. Additionally, Hitachi required all 2000 to be brand consistent, with the Hitachi logo engraved in each gear tray. |
| The Solution | With decades of experience behind us, we designed the perfect solution. We incorporated a smart system that dims to 10% after a set period of inactivity and then to 0% after a further interval. This solution resulted in a 72% reduction in energy consumption—meeting Hitachi’s sustainability goals. Using our in-house Salvagnini laser, we ensured all gear trays were engraved with the Hitachi logo, achieving brand consistency throughout. |
