Background
Derriford Hospital wanted an uplifting calming environment for patients spending extended periods in hospital. Sky Panels were chosen to simulate open skies and natural light.
Work undertaken
We worked with the hospital to select specific sky imagery for each area before manufacturing and supplying 58 custom panels across various wards.
During installation, space limitations in the hepatology ward created challenges. Our technicians adapted design, installing panels without risers to ensure a perfect fit and avoid project delays.

A resounding success, both staff and patients have praised the new system for its calming effect and improved atmosphere.
