Background
Powerlite Fitzgerald was enlisted to upgrade atrium lighting to replace outdated metal halide high bays. The aim was to provide functional, appealing lighting with reduced energy consumption and smart controls, including daylight-dimming technology.
Work undertaken
We designed a lighting solution delivering 500-lux illumination using 16 85W Galaxy fixtures, reducing energy consumption by 66% compared to the old 250W metal halide high bays.
With smart controls and opal diffusers, the installation achieved a 74% energy reduction while enhancing the fixtures’ appearance with a modern, fresh look.
